EFX Design Team Switches on Elektra’s Global Awards with Reflective Trophies
Each year, the world of electronics honours outstanding innovation and contribution to the global electronics industry at the Elektra Awards. This year’s virtual event, held March 25, celebrated 2020’s winners. It was hosted by comedian and impressionist Jon Culshaw and the entertainment provided by the electric string quartet Siren; meanwhile, the reflective trophies were designed and produced by EFX.
In fact, EFX has worked with the organisers of the event for several years – a long-standing relationship which has produced a wealth of evolving trophies. “EFX is always pro-active in offering a selection of new designs that meet the brand values and the event creative, thanks to their collaboration on the event in previous years.”
Ingenious printed mirror inspires reflective trophies
The latest trophy design for the Elektra Awards stands 23.5cms tall and suggests its electronic industry credentials with the use of a digitally printed mirror and globe, which are featured on the face of the trophies.
RS Components led the way and scooped four awards on the night: Distributor of the Year, Educational Support Award, Best Campaign of the Year and Enterprise of the Year. Meanwhile, Oxford University (lead) was presented with University Research Group of the Year for its work in developing a ventilator that can be manufactured in SME workshops.
