Championing Young Talent At The National Apprenticeship Awards

2024 marked the 21st anniversary of The Department for Education’s National Apprenticeship and Skills Awards. (NASA’s) The awards are designed to recognise and reward the achievements of exceptional apprentices, T Level students, Skills Champions and employers from across England. Winners are celebrated across 9 regional ceremonies, then all regional winners are invited to the national ceremony which was held this year at The Royal Lancaster Hotel in London, where they crowned a national winner for each category.
Headed up by The Department for Education, the NASA’s are for those who share and champion the values of fostering talent and professionalism in young people. Winners range from employers to apprentices and organisations who are outstanding in their contribution. The awards have an impressive host of corporate and government sponsors including, the Royal Navy, the RAF and the Army, who are keen to nurture the next generation of talent with a shared ethic for hard work and creativity.
The glamorous evening was hosted by TV presenter Steph McGovern, who as a former engineering apprentice herself, knows how far a technical education can take you as well as how many different opportunities it can bring. The finalists from all 9 regional ceremonies along with the national ceremony were all blown away by the trophies and certificates this year. There were a mix of new winners and seasoned success stories, and they all commented at how classy, unique and impactful the trophies were.
More Than Awards
For this awards evening, EFX also supplied a range of branded pins & paper bags which promoted the branding perfectly across the event and beyond. The awards looked fantastic on the night, with the nationals displaying the gold anodised finish aluminium and black acrylic design with laser engraved and print detailing. The NAA’s also had a silver anodised aluminium and black acrylic version of the awards created for their regional awards, creating a strong synergy across all of the events. The finished result was a great success.
Our client at NAA had this to say – “Working with EFX has always been a pleasure. The team are fantastic to work with, and they were able to interpret our vision and create something to capture the moment. It was fascinating to see how the trophies were made and understand some of the expert craftsmanship that go into them. Thank you!”
We are always so proud to receive feedback like this, especially when it’s regarding awards that are supporting the next generation of talent and skills.
