Crowning Glory For Pirellis King Of The Mountain

Superbike riders from across the country raced to take part and watch Pirelli’s King of the Mountain be crowned at Cadwell Park in August. The award went to the rider achieving the best race results in races one and two, over the British Superbike weekend. The marketing manager for Pirelli said “Cadwell Park is a challenging tight circuit which always delivers exciting riding and thrilling races. It always draws a large Bank Holiday crowd. Once again – Cadwell Park 2024 was a success!”

The opening 18-lap encounter took place on the Sunday afternoon in Lincolnshire before Monday’s frantic 12-lap sprint. Bennetts British Superbike Championship Series Director Stuart Higgs commented: “The two different race lengths brought two different dynamics to the race.”

This year’s winner Kyle Ryde took the crown after an intense two days of racing – Ryde’s second place in the last race was enough to hand him the coveted Pirelli King of the Mountain Trophy, as the highest combined points scorer in the first two races. The striking trophy was handed over to the winner on the main Podium by Pirelli UK’s Race Manager, Jason Griffiths.

Super design for Super bikes

The striking one off design was created using polished nickel plated and black anodised aluminium and red and yellow acrylic, with the award details and logo digitally printed or laser engraved. The rider detail is created out of black acrylic with the race circuit digitally printed in red. A great piece to remember the day for winner Ryde.

Our client had this to say about how they found working with EFX – “Fantastic! This is the third year you’ve produced the trophy for us.  Every time we get a great design, very good quality and a great service from all the team, particularly from Dee who does a great job for us.”
