British Grand Prix Trophy 2021
The famous Silverstone racetrack was the main feature of this high impact design for the 2021’s Formula 1 British Grand Prix. The outline was created from black anodised aluminium with a high shine British flag reflecting through from the back, in a mix of 18ct rose gold plated, nickel plated, and 24ct gold plated aluminium to represent the podium placings – Bronze, Silver & Gold.
The matt black anodised aluminium trophy base was engraved with an image of Murray Walker, a legend in motorsport commentating, as a very special tribute to him. What left the EFX manufacture was no less than a masterpiece. Fit for the Formula 1 Pirelli British Grand Prix podium!

We gave EFX a brief to come up with a slick, modern design worthy of a glamorous awards show of this kind and they exceeded our expectations in terms of design, manufacturing and delivery. The design feels light years away from where we were and looked fantastic on stage with the winners.

As we relaunched the League this year, we wanted to create a trophy that is beautiful, unique and aspirational. In line with our commitment to illuminate the indisputable power of women both on and off the court, working with a female-led business to bring this vision to life has been hugely important. Together we have created an incredible trophy that truly reflects the new era we have entered and is something that NSL Champions for many years to come will feel proud to lift.
